Many of you take great pictures as you explore America’s backcountry while on a Jeep Jamboree; and now its time to share those photos with other Jeep Jamboree enthusiasts!
         

  Jeep Jamboree USA is proud to continue our Photo of the Month/Year Contest and Photo Album feature. And the best part is, you could win a Jeep Jamboree trip for two anywhere in the United States*. So if you’ve been taking pictures at Jeep Jamboree events you might be holding the winning photo – just check your camera!

Requirements, Rules, & Regulations

All photos will only be considered after review and at the sole discretion of Jeep Jamboree USA, and must meet the following requirements:

  • Photo Waiver must be signed by photographer.
  • Photos must have been taken at a Jeep Jamboree USA event.
  • Photographer must have been a Jeep Jamboree USA participant at the time the photo was taken.
  • Photos submitted can be up to (1) year old.
  • Photos submitted must adhere to the principles of Tread Lightly!
  • Be sure to include you name, contact information, at what Jeep Jamboree event you snapped the photo.
  • Must meet the following technical requirements:
    • All contest photos must be at least 1024x768 in size (and @ 300dpi recommended)1
    • All album photos must be at least 800x600 in size (and @ 72dpi recommended)2

    1larger is OK; 300dpi* is a standard print resolution
    2larger is OK; 72dpi* is a standard photo resolution
    * dpi = dots per inch

Photo Tips

Experiment with different perspectives to make more interesting shots– for instance, instead of taking all your pics from your everyday height, get down low (crouch, etc) or up high (use a platform, etc). Remember to always be safe and aware of footing, stability, and your surroundings (especially vehicles).

Experiment with depth of field– for instance, focus in on one subject while intentionally putting background objects out of focus. By reducing the number of in-focus objects, you can often get more interesting shots.
